Empro Black Diamond Liner

Is this the perfect felt tip liner? Read on to find out.

I like the cap on this. It feels really secure so I'm not afraid of it coming off in my bag or drying out too fast. The stiffness of the tip is just perfect for me! I don't like flimsy ones as it's harder to control..

I can quite easily control the thickness of the line. There's thin, medium, thick and er... Mr Potato mustache =/ It can appear to be dark grey sometimes but going over the line again makes it full black. Swatches here are all 1 stroke only.

It's okay if you don't get it.. I'm just being lame =_="

Eyeliner is very very very useful if you want to change your look. It really opens up my eyes.

Clean and precise application, no smudging & long lasting. It doesn't smear if you pour water on it/cry but it will flake off if you rub it. It's really easy to remove with the gentlest makeup remover (Empro Perfect Eye & Lip Makeup Remover) and it doesn't stain.

Product says : Shake well before application. Place the tip of the brush on the inner corners of your eyes and work your way outwards. For a more va va voom effect, curve the line towatds the outer corners of your eyes.

Pros : Secure cap, tip is just perfect, easy to use, smudge-proof, doesn't smear, slightly cheaper than other felt tip liners, easy to remove, doesn't stain
Cons : Flakes off when rubbed

My conclusion : IMO, the only con is it not surviving a rub but I've trained myself not to rub my eyes so it isn't a problem for me. I wouldn't mind repurchasing this since it's cheaper than other liners I'm eyeing.

  3. I have a few gel liners but the hassle of dipping a brush into the pot plus it drying out really bugs me!

LOL Good point! Maybe it's those high fashion models who are on airplanes flying from 1 show to another without removing their makeup =/
